The X Factor winner James Arthur continues to top the Official UK Singles Chart for a third week today.
Impossible is heading towards the million sales milestone, with current sales standing at nearly 971,000 copies after just four weeks on sale. Will.I.Am and Britney’s Scream And Shout trailed in second for another week by over 6,000 copies.
Psy’s Gangnam Style, which was announced as the sixth biggest selling single of 2012, holds firm at Number 3 in its 17th week in the Official Singles Chart Top 40, while Bruno Mars’ Locked Out Of Heaven climbs two places to Number 4. The Top 5 is completed by Taylor Swift’s I Knew You Were Trouble.
In the Albums Chart, Calvin Harris hit the No 1 spot with his long player 18 Months.
Emeli Sandé dropped one place with Our Version Of Events at No 2 and Ed Sheeran roses 10 places to No 3 with +.
Jake Bugg was up 12 places at No 4 with his self-titles album and the top five was rounded out by Bruno Mars with Unorthodox Jukebox.
