A long list of additional artists have now been confirmed for both the Main Stage and Stage 2 for Sundown Festival 2013, including Jaguar Skills, High Contrast, Zinc, Netsky, Angel, Amelia Lily, Tich & more.
Among them are BBC Radio 1 star DJ Friction and High Contrast, both confirmed for Rinse FM’s Stage 2 takeover on Saturday 31 August, along with the likes of Netsky and Danny Byrd who are confirmed to join Hospitality’s line-up of Stage 2 on Sunday 1 September.
Main Stage additions include Jag Skills, Angel and Little Nikki for the Saturday, with X Factor star Amelia Lily and YouTube sensation Tich added to the Sunday line-up.
These are in addition to the previously announced performances, with the Saturday Main Stage line-up, confirmed so far, now comprising, Example, Rita Ora, DJ Fresh, James Arthur, Jag Skills, Angel and Little Nikki, with Rinse FM’s Saturday Stage 2 including sets from Skepta, Redlight, High Contrast, Zinc, Friction and Huxley.
Sunday’s Main Stage line-up confirmed so far now includes Jessie J, JLS, Union J, Amelia Lily and Tich, with Hospitality’s Stage 2 Sunday line-up boasts sets by Netsky, Danny Byrd, Nu:Logic, S.P.Y, Fred V & Grafix and Metrik, with gifted lyricists Wrec, Dynamite, SP:MC and Texas all providing additional MC vocals.
Sundown Festival spokesperson, Dion Clements comments: “The line-up speaks for itself; from top pop acts to superstar DJs, with some of the best underground MCs on the scene for added flavour, Sundown Festival 2013 will offer one of the most diverse music line-ups around. We’re obviously very pleased to welcome Zinc and Jag Skills back from last year and we know High Contrast, Friction, Netsky and the other DJs will get a big reception here”.
Dion added “Angel has released singles with the likes of Wretch 32 and written songs for JLS and Devlin, while Little Nikki is one of MTV’s ‘10 to watch in 2013’. Amelia Lily is obviously well known from her close-cut-finale on X Factor, as well as her more recent chart singles, while Tich is on the breakthrough, with her debut EP hitting the #15 spot on the iTunes chart in December having supported shows for the likes of Olly Murs, JLS, Professor Green and Stooshe during 2012”.
The line-up for the ‘Circus Opening Party’ on the indoor Warehouse stage – accessible only with camping tickets – has also been announced and will see Doctor P, Funtcase, Cookie Monsta, Brown & Gammon, Roksonix and Krafty kicking off the weekend on Friday 30 August.
