On Friday 2 August at 10pm Channel 4 will air the very first instalment of That Music Show. A brand new entertainment show it is a mix of panel show, comedy and live music and sees two teams comprising musicians and comedians compete with each other to find out who knows the most about music from an iconic year in music history. First up is 1995 v 2005.
Radio 1’s Nick Grimshaw hosts proceedings while 6 Music’s Shaun Keaveny captains team 1995. He is joined by Blur’s Alex James, Shed Seven’s Rick Witter, M People’s Heather Small and A*M*E.
Comedian Seann Walsh leads team 2005 and is joined by Texas’ Sharleen Spiteri, Goldie Looking Chain’s Maggot, Theo Hutchcraft from Hurts and comedian Tom Stade. East 17’s Tony Mortimer makes a guest appearance on a shooting range.
Filmed at the Electric in Brixton, London there are live music performances from Primal Scream and hot new duo AlunaGeorge.
