The Vamps today premiered the video for next single Somebody To You. Filmed in Malibu, California, the latest installment features American superstar Demi Lovato, who also appears as special guest on the single version of Somebody To You. The track, which is a firm fan favourite, is set to impact at UK radio on 7th July.
It’s been an exciting year so far for The Vamps. In April, the four-piece released their 15-track debut album and it charted at #2 on the UK Official Album Charts and is already certified Gold, and peaked in the Top 10 of the iTunes chart in 52 countries. Last month, The Vamps debut tour went on sale and sold out in minutes. Due to demand, extra dates were added – see all dates at http://www.thevamps.net/diary. The Vamps were the most searched for act on Ticketmaster the week of release, and the tour kicks off on the 23rd September.
The Vamps have been confirmed for a host of upcoming festivals, including this weekend’s Isle of Wight Festival, the British Summertime Festival at Hyde Park in support of McBusted and also Capital FM’s Summertime Ball. Next month they head off on a joint tour of the US with Austin Mahone. In the past few weeks, The Vamps have made their first visit to Japan and Australia where they have been causing pandemonium everywhere they go, and have appeared on some of the nation’s biggest TV shows, including Sunrise, which can be viewed here.
The Vamps have picked up a phenomenal following online. Can We Dance has clocked up over 16.7 million YouTube views, Wild Heart has over 9.6 million, new single Last Night has had over 7.5 million views, and their channel has already tipped 48 million total views and signed up over ½ million subscribers, which is quite an astounding achievement for a new band.
