On Tuesday this week, Coldplay took to the streets of Sydney, Australia to record the video for their current single, A Sky Full Of Stars, along with director Mat Whitecross and hundreds of fans who responded to a call on Twitter.
Following the band’s Sydney show which took place today (Thursday night in Australia), they have just posted the finished video with the following message:

The band surprised the 2400 fans in attendance, when Kylie Minogue joined them onstage for an encore performance of two songs – ‘Where The Wild Roses Grow’ and ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’.
A Sky Full Of Stars is the second single to be taken from the band’s acclaimed new album, Ghost Stories, which topped the iTunes Chart in more than 100 countries worldwide and is already certified Platinum in the UK.
