Carling, the official beer and cider partner of Virgin Media’s V Festival, will unleash the vocal talents of singer-songwriters Katy B and Foxes giving fans a chance to get closer to the stars as they perform intimate, acoustic sets in the Carling tent.
The festival takes place on the 16th and 17th August at Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire. Fans in Chelmsford can catch Grammy winning hit-maker Foxes in the Carling tent on the Saturday, whilst singer-songwriter and Mercury Prize nominee Katy B will be taking to the stage on Sunday. Both stars will be heading to the Carling tent following their eagerly-anticipated performances on the main stages.
Carling, will also be bringing a team of ‘roadies’ to the event to ensure festival goers enjoy the most ‘refreshingly perfect’ experience possible. With a ‘no task too big or small’ attitude, Carling’s seasoned roadies will be on standby across both sites to give festival-goers a helping hand; whether that’s carrying bags, pitching tents or handing out sun cream and waterproofs. As if having a roadie on hand for the weekend wasn’t enough, Carling is also giving music fans the chance to perform with the superb Rockaoke, who first shot to fame on the Chris Moyles Radio One show. With a full live band and a range of songs in their arsenal, the stage will be set for budding pop-stars to take their turn in the limelight.
