Manchester four-piece Rixton follow up their No.1 debut single ‘Me And My Broken Heart’ with one of the biggest pop songs of the year in the form of ‘Wait On Me’. Co-written with producer Benny Blanco (Katy Perry, Maroon 5), ‘Wait On Me’ is a synth-driven slice of über-pop with an irresistible reggae-lilt at its heart.

Rixton have just finished their debut headline tour of the USA, where ‘Wait On Me’ is already climbing the charts with incredible speed, following the phenomenal success of ‘Me And My Broken Heart’ which has sold well over a million copies and been viewed over 25 million times on YouTube.
They have also recently appeared at the Teen Choice Awards in the US – where they were nominated for four awards including Breakout Music Group – and performed a brilliant medley of ‘Wait On Me’ and ‘Me And My Broken Heart’ to an absolutely rapturous audience.

Rixton have just been confirmed as the final VEVO Lift artist for 2014, following similar high-profile support from VEVO for Sam Smith and Ella Eyre. Rixton topped the fan-voted poll with the biggest-ever vote VEVO have received, gaining over 140,000 fans demanding that Rixton take the final slot.
Ahead of that they will also be performing at the Radio 1 Teen Awards and set out on their biggest-ever UK headline tour on October 22nd, playing 13 cities around the country.
