The multi-talented Olivia Somerlyn is proud to present her new single ‘Parachute’. The track was co-written and produced by none other than Nick Jonas.
The song is an exploration of various themes and aspects of ‘holding on’ or ‘letting go’ in relationship. As Olivia says:
“.. to me the song is about letting go of a relationship even though that means letting go of the ‘highest highs’ that the ‘Parachute’ is going to bring you up to – because you know it’s just going to push you down again to the ‘lowest lows’. It’s about letting go and making it your decision.”
Meanwhile Olivia’s silky vocals infuse the song with honey-like sweetness and emotion whilst the tune maintains a definite club vibe – essential for the dance floor. ‘Parachute’ is a perfect combination from a perfect collaboration! As Jonas says of the track:
