5SOS continue to conquer the world, this time with the announcement of the release of their new DVD ‘How Did We End Up Here? – Live at Wembley Arena’ out November 23rd. There will also be an exclusive screening of the DVD taking place in Glasgow on November 5th.
‘How Did We End Up Here?’ takes you through an up close and personal journey of how the guys have become one of the biggest band of today. It is the band telling their story, their way and includes some amazing footage recorded live from one of the Wembley Arena shows during the 2015 tour.
Calum says – “I remember our third gig, it was to about 150 people we played a song called ‘Gotta Get Out’; I remember writing it in my room! We got out on stage and played it and then I heard them sing it back and stopped and looked and the biggest smile came on my face, this is the best thing ever.”
Following the ‘Rock Out With Your Socks Out’ tour, 5SOS will be touring across the UK and Ireland in April 2016 for their ‘Sounds Live Feels Live’ tour. Due to extraordinary demand, the band recently announced four new dates to the 2016 tour which will also see them playing two dates at London’s O2 Arena.
’Sounds Good Feels Good’ sees the band collaborate again with rock veteran John Feldmann (producer All Time Low, Good Charlotte, Boys Like Girls) who executive produced the album. The result is an album packed with adrenaline-fuelled pop-rock hits that give a nod to their super-rock turn-of-the-millennium US Alt-Rock influences. The band spent three months living together in a studio in LA writing and recording an album that they have poured their hearts and souls in to and are very proud of. The new album is the follow-up to their self-titled debut album, which sold in excess of three million copies worldwide making it the biggest US debut album of the year.
One of many standout tracks from the new album, the new single ‘Hey Everybody!’ is a confident all-out rock assault to the senses – crunching guitars, high octane drumming and a belting chorus. Check out the video for the single which had an incredible 3.5 million views in just 10 days!
