Jess Glynne, James Bay, Little Mix and The Weeknd are to join Adele, Coldplay and Justin Bieber to perform at the UK’s biggest night in music in February at The O2.

As the nation looks forward to finding out who has made the shortlists for the 2016 BRITs, which are revealed this evening at an exclusive nominations launch show ‘The BRITs Are Coming’ broadcast on ITV at 10.40pm, these three stellar names add to an already incredible live line up for the awards, which will be hosted by Ant & Dec.

2015 saw the release of ‘I Cry When I Laugh’ – the #1 double platinum album, which made Jess Glynne the biggest selling debut artist of the year. The album features her five #1 singles including smash hit ‘Hold My Hand’ and its equally successful follow-up ‘Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself’, along with the recent single ‘Take Me Home’. With a big headline US tour starting next week, Jess will then return to the UK for her biggest tour to date which is completely sold out and includes two shows at London’s Brixton Academy.

British singer-songwriter and guitarist James Bay won the 2015 BRITs Critics’ Choice Award, with his debut album ‘Chaos and the Calm’ following a month later, going straight to No. 1 and achieving platinum status. About to kick off a world tour, he will play four nights at London’s Hammersmith Apollo in April.

THE Breakthrough artist of 2015, The Weeknd, aka 25-year-old Canadian singer/songwriter/producer Abel Tesfaye, released his second studio album ‘Beauty Behind the Madness’ last year to critical acclaim, reaching No. 1 in the UK and debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

British girl group and 2011 X Factor winners Little Mix released their third studio album ‘Get Weird’ last year. The album included the chart-topping single ‘Black Magic’ which remained at #1 for three weeks, the first single by a girl group to do so since Sugababes in 2007.

In other news, this year’s BRITs will also see the return of popular TV broadcaster Laura Whitmore and KISS radio presenters Rickie Haywood-Williams and Melvin Odoom! They will host the official BRITs Red Carpet and BRITs After Party shows for ITV2 on the night, giving viewers all the latest behind the scenes gossip and exclusive interviews. This will be Laura’s fifth time hosting these special shows, with Rickie and Melvin taking on the duties for the second year.

The BRIT Awards 2016 with MasterCard will take place on Wednesday 24th February at London’s O2 Arena and will be broadcast live on ITV. Ant & Dec will return as hosts.
