Laura Whitmore and Chris Stark have confirmed that they will be the faces of the new televised awards show designed to reward, surface and fund the current and future successes of independent artists.
The hosts have been announced for the first ever Unsigned Music Awards, taking place on 27 October 2016 at Troxy Theatre, London.
You will recognise Laura Whitmore as the host of popular TV shows such as The BRIT Awards and I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here Now! and Chris Stark as co-host of the BBC Radio 1 ‘Scott Mills Show’ famed the world over for his antics on Innuendo Bingo and that interview with Mila Kunis.
CEO Simon O’Kelly says: “The team and I are really excited for Chris and Laura to host the debut show for UMA. Together, they bring a blend of charm and glamour – with a sprinkling of cheekiness – which is perfectly suited to our vision for the show and above all else, it’s going to be a lot of fun.”
