Forest Live, the summer concert series presented by Forestry England, has announced a star-studded lineup for 2024, including the return of Olly Murs. The singer-songwriter and solid-gold pop star will perform a headline show at High Lodge, Thetford Forest on 30 June 2024.
Olly Murs first gained fame with his self-titled album in 2010, which was followed by a string of Number One singles and albums. His infectious personality and charismatic stage presence have made him a household name. Some of his most popular songs include “Troublemaker” (feat. Flo Rida), “Dance With Me Tonight,” “Heart Skips a Beat” (feat. Rizzle Kicks), “Dear Darlin’,” and “Please Don’t Let Me Go.”
Olly Murs’ most recent album, ‘Marry Me,’ was released in 2022 and showcased his most ambitious, punchiest, and poppiest work to date. The album’s success has paved the way for his return to Forest Live seven years after his last appearance.
The Forest Live concert series is a fundraising event that raises money to maintain beautiful natural areas, run important conservation projects, and keep growing trees. Last year, Forestry England planted some 7.4 million trees, caring for the nation’s 1,500 woods and forests sustainably and welcoming 291 million visits.
The 2024 lineup also includes Canadian rock great Bryan Adams, legendary Sting, British superstar Paloma Faith, and charismatic hit-maker Sir Tom Jones. The concerts will take place at six forests throughout England, including Delamere Forest, Dalby Forest, Sherwood Pines, High Lodge Thetford Forest, Westonbirt Arboretum, and Cannock Chase Forest.
