Fusion Festival with Vimto have announced that US superstar Adam Lambert will be joining the line up to make his first ever UK Festival appearance on Sunday 30th August this year at Birmingham’s Cofton Park.
He joins recently announced global superstar Ed Sheeran and chart toppers Rudi- mental, McBusted, Tinie Tempah, Labrinth, Clean Bandit and so many more at the biggest pop event of the summer.
Adam Lambert shot to stardom on American Idol where he was awarded runner- up for the show’s eighth series. Since then he has done a guest appearance on Glee, the vocal on a track on Avicii’s album, and he performed on a sold out worldwide arena tour with Queen, as well as releasing 3 solo albums.
Lambert recently stormed the UK Top Ten with the release of ‘The Original High’; the album reached the Top Three in the US and worldwide. His single ‘Ghost Town’ has been streamed over 55 million times, and the video, directed by Hype
Williams, has had over 17 million views. Adam has had an amazing year which started when he performed with Queen on BBC1 on New Years eve to 15 million people which resulted in ‘Adam Lambert’ being the most searched term on Google UK for 4 days.
