It was a triumphant night for the Brits at last night’s People’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles with both One Direction and The Wanted picking up gongs at the ceremony.
One Direction picked up the first award of the evening with their ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ hit announced as the Favourite Song. The 1D boys then went on to win the Favourite Album prize for their first album ‘Up All Night’.
Taylor Swift picked up Favourite Country Artist while Maroon 5 won Favourite Band for the second year in a row.
Rihanna was named Favourite R&B Artist, Nicki Minaj picked up Favourite Hip-Hop Artist while Jason Mraz won Favourite Male Artist.
