Cheryl Cole can now be officially called a Lady after media mogul Simon Cowell bought her some land in the Scottish Highlands which comes with the title.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Simon had the deeds for the land and the details of her new title delivered to where Cheryl was staying.”
Cheryl was in Los Angeles, California, where she celebrated her borthday with boyfriend Tre Holloway and Girls Aloud pals, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh, on Saturday night.
Simon’s gift comes after he was accused of snubbing her birthday. He took to Twitter to set the record straight, saying: “I didn’t snub Cheryl’s party. I just couldn’t go because of my filming dates. We are close friends again and I adore her.”
