Following the announcement that boy band The Wanted have decided to call it a day, ticket demand for their Word of Mouth tour has surged.
According to ticket marketplace Seatwave demand has increased by over 200 per cent.
Fans are hopeful the group may one day reunite, as an official statement on their website stated that the boys have “decided to take time to pursue personal endeavours”.
Their last UK tour date will be at the Nottingham Arena on April 1.
Louise Mullock, spokesperson for Seatwave, commented, “Many fans are devastated by this news, however we remain hopeful that the split is only temporary.
Twitter has been awash with comments, with many lamenting that the announcement of this split comes only a month after the JLS split.”
