Amazon.co.uk has announced that 5 Seconds of Summer lead-singer Luke Hemmings is set to top the charts – as the best-selling member of the band.
5SOS fans had the chance to vote for their favourite member of the Australian pop-rock quartet since May 13th by pre-ordering one of four exclusive limited edition album sleeves of their upcoming eponymous debut album.
Lead-singer Luke Hemmings narrowly beat drummer Ashton Irwin into second place with 33% and 32% of the sales respectively. Guitarist Michael Clifford and bass player Calum Hood fell behind their fellow band mates, with 19% and 16% of the sales.
Released yesterday (Monday 30 June), debut album 5 Seconds of Summer looks set to go straight to number 1 this Sunday and includes chart-topping single She Looks So Perfect and the 5SOS latest hit Don’t Stop.
The 5 Seconds of Summer CD album also comes AutoRip enabled, meaning Amazon.co.uk customers will receive a digital download version free of charge, for immediate playback or download.
