Last night Tinchy Stryder debuted the official remix to his new single ‘ESG’ on Radio 1 Xtra Mista Jam’s show.
Boasting a lacerating bass line, killer hook and featuring singer-songwriter Takura (Chase & Status, Shadow Child), once ‘ESG’ (produced by Show N Prove) hit the radio waves, it fast became a banger and anthem that created a lot of buzz across the grime and UK hip-hop scenes.
Tinchy once again had the grime scene talking when over the last few days he hinted across social media about getting some other ‘Geezers’ involved for the remix.
Finally releasing the finished product last night, the Stryderman has called on his friends from across North London (Meridian Dan), South London (Big Narstie) West London (Scrufizzer) to jump on the track. All respected and talented Mc’s in their own right, they cohesively deliver confident lyrical prowess while expressing their collective thoughts on what a truly means to be a ‘Geezer’.
‘ESG’ provides an impressive window into what you can expect from Tinchy’s forthcoming fourth studio album, 360º (due for release at the end of September), and follows on from the recently dropped ‘Misunderstood’.
