Green Day’s frontman is headed to treatment for substance abuse.
The band’s rep announced the news to The Associated Press today and comes after the 40-year-old had a meltdown onstage at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas on Friday. As Green Day was wrapping up its performance during the all-star, two-day concert, Armstrong profanely complained that the band’s time was being cut short.
The troubled actress is a little pissed off that the victim of Wednesday’s accident, Jose Rodriguez, is claiming that she was drunk at the time.
Lindsay was arrested after allegedly hiting the pedestraian with her Porsche Cayenne and fleeing the scene. She was later arrested but not breathalised as the not a factor in the alleged incident. Rodriguez, however, complained that Lohan was “slurring” and “smelled of alcohol.”
According to TMZ, Lohan is “tired of people lying just to score a quick paycheck.”
Paris Hilton has issued an apology for the remarks she made about gay men. The remarks were made after an audio was recorded by a taxi driver while Hilton was in Manhattan attending New York Fashion Week and was subsequently made public. In the tape she called gay men “disgusting” and said “most of them probably have AIDS.”
